The San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG) and Coast Rail Coordinating Council (CRCC) are committed to meaningful public engagement throughout this study. Corridor stakeholder and community participation is vital in working towards a feasible rail solution that meets our transportation needs within the San Luis Obispo region and beyond. The engagement program is designed to provide convenient and timely information while creating opportunities for effective dialogue and discussion using a number of tools and tactics.

COVID 19

While conducting in-person engagement opportunities during the time of COVID-19 is not possible, SLOCOG is committed to providing engagement opportunities that are safe and accessible while staying socially-distant. Standard in-person meetings will be replaced with robust webinars and virtual public meetings to reach our communities. All project information will be housed on the website and made available upon request.
