The Greenup/Boyd County Freight Plan is focused on identifying transportation issues and solutions in Eastern Kentucky. This virtual engagement session is designed to capture freight stakeholder feedback on freight challenges in the two counties.

How to participate
Partipation is easy: Click through all 5 screens using the navigation bar on the left side of the screen or your keyboard arrows. Provide input for each freight-related topic.
Through your participation, your organization will have a voice in how the region’s freight infrastructure will be developed in the future.
By sharing your organization’s transportation challenges, the project team may be able to identify potential infrastructure-related projects, policies, and solutions. The corresponding implementations strategies will improve the freight infrastructure and keep the local and region economy going.
Who is developing the plan?
KYOVA Interstate Planning Commission is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Tri-State area of West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio. As the MPO, KYOVA serves as a transportation planning agency and forum for regional transportation decisions. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) mission is to provide a safe, efficient, environmentally sound and fiscally responsible transportation system that delivers economic opportunity and enhances the quality of life in Kentucky.
