Project History
MnDOT is planning a large roadway reconstruction project on Highway 19/College Drive from 4th Street through the intersection of Bruce Street in Marshall. Work on the project began with community visioning events.
- MnDOT worked with the public to identify its vision and priorities for the Hwy 19/College Drive project, working hard to connect with members of the Marshall community and all those who use Hwy 19/College Drive.
- MnDOT further worked with the community during 2020 and 2021 to seek input on preliminary plans for the roadway that meet its vision and priorities.
In addition to roadway reconstruction, the City of Marshall will replace aging utilities in the area while construction takes place.
Minnesota Department of Transportation and the City of Marshall have worked closely since 2019 to plan for large infrastructure improvements while meeting the needs of the local community. Thank you for your involvement thus far!
Project Update
The layout was finalized in 2021 with the city of Marshall giving Municipal Consent for the project. Currently, MnDOT is working with impacted landowners and business owners around sidewalk and driveway work. Additional design work is occurring now through 2024.
Project Overview
