Grant Program

The Grain Belt Express is committed to providing local benefits to landowners, communities, and other stakeholders. Grain Belt Express will support economic development in the Midwest by delivering millions of dollars in savings for energy customers, providing new property tax revenue to local counties along the route and offering the most generous landowner compensation package of any transmission project in history.

As part of Grain Belt’s commitment to the local communities where the project will be located, Grain Belt Express is offering support to non-profit organizations located in the Illinois, Kansas and Missouri route counties through its new Community Grant Program. Under the Community Grant Program, one-time grants of up to $500 will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to a select number of organizations along the route.

Applications must be completed via the online form below and there is no deadline for submitting the application at this time. All monies received must go towards the organization and purpose for which they are specifically requested.
